DRY TYPE DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER

GAGAN offer technologically advanced range of Dry Type Transformers with Off Circuit Tap Links (up to 2000 KVA in 11 KV Class.), using best grade CRGO & Electrolytic Grade Copper/Aluminium. These transformers are designed for trouble-free performance, confirming to IS – 2026 with low power loss and low noise. Use of modern manufacturing techniques and optimum utilization of active materials ensures cost effectiveness, reliability and a long trouble-free performance.

INVERTER DUTY TRANSFORMER (SOLAR APPLICATION)

GAGAN manufactures special purpose transformers for specific applications in renewable energy, primarily used for solar/wind power applications. The Transformers are available upto 10MVA suitable for various invertors voltages and are manufactured in different windings arrangements to reduce cost and space requirement. These are designed to withstand voltage excursions that arise due to pulse mode invertor operations. The Transformers are capable of withstanding voltages with rate of rise (dV/dt ) up to 500V/ps to ground. Electrostatic shield is provided between inverter winding and primary winding.

PACKAGE SUBSTATION (UNITIZED SUBSTATION TRANSFORMER)

GAGAN offers qualitative range of PSS (Package Substation) or
USS (Unitized Substation) Transformer from 200 KVA to 2000 KVA in 11 KV Class. These Package Substations are largely required for fire hazardous and compact places. A unitized substation is a compact arrangement, which simplifies conventional substation design. Substation housing is divided into three compartments i.e. the HV Compartment, the Transformer Compartment and the LV Compartment.

NET-METERED ROOFTOP SOLAR SYSTEM

COMPONENTS OF ROOFTOP SOLAR SYSTEM

Solar PV Modules/Solar Panels

The Solar PV modules/Solar Panels convert solar energy to DC (direct current) electrical energy. They are available in different technologies such as crystalline silicon, thin film silicon, CIGS, CdTe, HIT, etc. Crystalline Silicon Solar PV panels are most commonly used in solar rooftop system. Multiple panels are connected together to form arrays as per the desired capacity of the system.

Module mounting structure

The module mounting structure, is the support structure that holds the Solar PV panels in place for full system life and is exposed to all weather conditions. These are normally fixed at particular angle and orientation in case of solar rooftop system. But these can also be of type that tracks the Sun, called as trackers.

Inverter

Inverter converts variable DC output of Solar PV panels into AC power. Inverter also synchronizes with the grid so that generated power from the module can be injected into the grid.

Bi-direction Meters
(For Net-Metered System)

Meters are used to record the generation or consumption of electricity. Bi-direction (or Net-Meters) are used to keep track of the electricity that solar PV system injects to utility grid and the electricity that is drawn from the utility grid.

Balance of System

 These consist of cables, switchboards, junction boxes, earthing system, circuit breaker, fuses, lightning protection system, etc.
